About FBC

First Baptist Church Jonesboro is rich in history and tradition, while being progressive in its ministries and strong in its commitment to God. Since 1852, the First Baptist community has had a vision to serve and influence the Jonesboro region and beyond for Jesus Christ.

The First Baptist Church campus is located in the heart of downtown Jonesboro. This location helps provide a vision for the church as we seek to minister to the whole Jonesboro community.

Our desire is to welcome all people openly, helping them find their place in God's kingdom, in the church, and to share God's love, hope and healing with everyone who comes our way.

We are a church that offers our members the opportunity to support the Southern Baptist Convention, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, the Arkansas Baptist State Convention and the Mt. Zion  Baptist Association.
