| Adults and Adult ministry are extremely important to the First Baptist Family. Everything that we do is intended to help each person know Christ as Savior and Lord and to have the opportunity to grow in His likeness. Our approach is individual driven not program driven. We see you as a unique creation of God not a resource. Each adult is important to us and our events and opportunities are designed to meet your individual needs and personality. Adult Bible study, small groups, care groups, mission involvement are just a few of the opportunities offered through First Adults. |
Adult Bible Fellowships – meet on Sunday morning at our Main Street Campus. Classes vary in size and make-up. There are coed classes, classes for men, women, internationals and single adults. Classes are available for different ages, experiences, and family involvement.

| Small Groups – meet at various times and in various locations both on and off campus. They are community, relational and need driven. Examples include life-stage coed Bible studies, men’s early morning Bible study, women’s night and morning Bible studies, prayer groups and classes, and through Celebrate Recovery classes for coping with divorce, grief, and substance abuse. |

| Mission Involvement – intended to provide mission opportunities on a variety of levels are available through First Baptist. Local, national, and international trips are taken annually and vary in emphasis from habitat homes, inner city ministry to English camps for internationals. We believe our faith grows deeper and richer through hands-on mission involvement in the lives of others. |

| First Women Celebrate – gives women of all ages the opportunity to participate in special events just for women that address the specific needs of women. |

|
| Woman's Missionary Union - offers missions education and involvement throughout the month. There are both day and night Women on Mission groups. GLOW is a special program of music and missions education for children (preschoolers through sixth grade) and meets on Wednesday evenings. |

| Worship Ministry - provides a wide variety of opportunities for Adults to develop and express their gifts and talents through praise teams, sanctuary choir, hand bells, ensembles, instruments and special presentations. |

| Christian Activity Center – provides a full range of recreation activities for the First Baptist Family. |
|
|
| The Huntington Mission Ministry began in 2002. From its inception members of the First Baptist family felt the strong and specific leading of God’s Spirit to reach our neighbors in the Huntington Area of our city. |
