Music for Adults

Sanctuary Choir
The First Baptist Sanctuary Choir is known for its commitment of non-auditioned participants and its beauty of leading worship through song.  This organization involves adults college age and older.  Sanctuary Choir rehearses each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Rehearsal Room (Room ED 210), and childcare is provided for infants through 6th grade by reservation. Sanctuary Choir sings weekly for the 10:50 a.m. classic worship gathering. The choir also participates annually in “The Glory of Christmas”, along with a major concert presentation each spring.  The choir takes rehearsals off in July but still sings during Sunday worship.

Main Street Ringers
Participants in this adult handbell choir practice each Sunday afternoon and participate in worship gatherings, special concert events and an annual handbell festival.  Finished after Easter until the Fall.

Contemporary Worship Team
Each Sunday at 8:30 a.m., the band and vocal team lead the contemporary worship service. Participation in this worship leadership team is by audition only.
