Music for Students

Youth Choir
Junior High and Senior High students lead in worship at First Baptist Jonesboro, and travel across the United States sharing the love and joy of Jesus through song. In addition, the Youth Choir is involved annually in  other major presentations including the summer tours of music and missions service.  Youth Choir is comprised of non-auditioned 7th-12th graders who meet weekly (Sundays at 5:00 p.m.) for rehearsal during the school year.

Youth Ringers
The youth handbell choir participates in worship gatherings, special productions, youth choir tour and other events. Students may audition for Youth Ringers in the fall. (The group takes the summer off from rehearsals)

Common Ground Praise Team
Students interested in leading music in worship with other youth can participate in the Common Ground praise team on Sunday and Wednesday nights. Contact the First Baptist Youth Ministry for details.
